Anti-spam

What is spam?

Spam is a collective term for unwanted message and is also known as “Unsolicited Commercial E-mail” and “Unsolicited Bulk E-mail”. In short: a recipient receives an e-mail without given explicit permission for this prior to receiving the e-mail. A mailing is classified as spam when this is sent without asking and in large amounts. This means that a large group of people will receive an email which are identical to each other.

Anti-spam policy

Interacto does not allow her users to abuse the system to send spam. To prevent this we monitor all large mailing-lists and campaigns. With each campaign a user should explicitly specify that the mailing is only sent to users who have given their explicit permission. Each mailing also includes a sign-out option.

When a user still abuses our system to send spam the account will be closed immediately. This is to prevent the network from appearing on “black-lists” which will result in many providers not delivering the mailings.

When you notice that you receive spam from an Interacto user please file your complaint to abuse@interacto.eu
